What are the go-to snacks you like to eat?

I’m not a big snacker tbh! But, if there’s Smart Food or Sour Patch Kids around, I’m going in. When I’m home, I always have grapes, oranges or apples in my fridge.

Do you brush your teeth when you wake up or after eating breakfast?

I wake up, shower, brush teeth, skip breakfast and GTFO.

Do you wet your toothbrush before or after you apply toothpaste?

100% before. It goes: wet, apply toothpaste, wet, THEN brush.

What's your spirit animal?

I used to think it was an owl, bc owls are cool AF, but I realized I’m not that cool so I now believe it to be a bear, due to my hibernation tendencies and cuddliness.

Who would you choose to play you in a movie about your life?

Oooh, I’ve never thought of that before. I think Scarlett Johanssen could do a good Me.

Favourite Restaurant in Toronto?

That’s a loaded question because I love our food scene. Swatow & Rol San are staples for Chinese. Wenona has the best wings in the city. Banjara for Indian. You can catch me ordering one of everything at Famiglia Baldassarre on work from home days. Ali’s Roti is pretty darn tasty. Alo is a special move.

What does equality mean to you?

Everyone gets the respect they deserve. Everyone gets to eat at the feast. Everyone deserves a chance to shine and highlight the unique skills they bring to the Team.

When It’s all said and done, the title to your autobiography is called_____?

“Well, that was interesting…”

It’s 2020, what does this decade look like to you?

Taking my career up a notch and standing out as an expert in my field, perhaps with some speaking opps. Saving up to buy a piece of sweet, sweet, Toronto property, being healthier & maybe finding a decent guy to spend my time with (if that’s possible) ;-)

Who made the best ‘Sunday Morning’ song A) k-os B) No Doubt or C) Maroon 5?

I feel like k-os will be mad at me if I don’t say A), so I’m going to say A)!

What’s the last item you purchased with cash?

A drink at a place that only takes cash. It’s rare that I have any on me.

What does retirement look like to you?

Seeing as much of the world as I can and taking in every culture and their art, music, food and traditions.

According to you, who is the best-dressed person in business?

Amal Clooney. Looking and acting like a class act at all times. (But seriously though, can she have a bad day please?)

What skill are you determined to master?

I am determined to one day be fluent in German and French. I’ve been half-assed studying both for half of my life. Oh, and to re-learn a few guitar songs (enough to impress people at cottages & campfires).

Miss Congeniality, The Devil Wears Prada, Now & Then

The most influential brand right now is?

I’m not easily influenced, I actually despise influencer culture, but I respect brands that work ethically, give back, make a difference or are doing something revolutionary like Ocean Cleanup or Serena Williams building schools, or Elon Musk trying to colonize Mars with SpaceX.

Do you believe there is a way to turn your passions in to work, and if so, how?

I’m passionate about art and ballet, but I am not going to be a ballerina or Manet for a living. I’ve found a way to turn my work into my passion by finding something I excel in and doing it for a person or company that is doing something revolutionary. Being the right-hand along for that ride is very exhilarating and it teaches you a lot. My job is basically a private, 1:1 education from the CEO of a company.

Where is your happy place?

I’ve been going to Misfit Studio and I really enjoy it. It’s a great release after work. That, or sleeping in my bed or spending time with my Mum.

What are the 3 Albums that soundtrack your life?

Only 3? That’s impossible! Big Shiny Tunes #1, Dance Mix 96, Pass The Vibes (also 96)...I was really into compilations.

What three words would you use to describe your past three months of your life?

Growth, Introspection, Achievements

What Public Figure inspired your career path?

There’s no public figure in my role really as we are the ones lurking in the background, pulling the strings! But there is a lady, Melba Duncan who runs an EA Agency in NYC who is a star in our field. She places the best of the best for very powerful and influential people. If she notices you, you are doing something right!

What’s your favourite book or author?

I’m ashamed to say I don’t read as often as I should, but I enjoy reading Malcolm Gladwell’s books these days, or anything non-fiction and self-improving. I used to love Greek Mythology. The Complete World of Greek Mythology by Richard Buxton is a good intro to it.

Name something you couldn’t go a day without. Why?

Sleep! I am useless without it and love it so very much. (another reason why a bear is my spirit animal)

Dogs or Cats?

I adore dogs, they are the most incredible, loving and forgiving creatures. Cats are evil and weird, but I still love them too.

What things in life are still a mystery to you?

Why do banks charge you a "non-sufficient funds fee" on the money they already know you don't have?

Why is there only one word for "thesaurus"?

Who is your role model and why?

I really wish I could say I had one...I’m trying to be one for the future. I know it’s cliche but I admire my mother for all she did raising two hyper, bi-racial children in a world that didn’t accept such a thing at the time. She gave us the world. When I come home exhausted after a long day, I think about her coming home to then feed us, bathe us, read to us, try desperately to put us to bed! I don’t know how she did it!

Indica, Sativa, or Hybrid?

I’m on that Indica tip these days. Sativa is a bit too twitchy. Indica gives out a slow wave that makes ya feel nice.
