According to you, who is the best-dressed person in business?
Depends on which business, I guess. I love my business partner (Pollen) Niki Bagheri’s style – it’s super personal and honest and maximalist. Niki dresses in a way that would never make sense for me, but it’s such a perfect representation of her - she wore a literal living snake very casually to a barbecue once.
What skill are you determined to master?
All of them! I’ve always been obsessed with learning. In a short(ish) term way, I’m want to learn French, classical piano and how to sound tech.

That’s more or less been my last five years. I quit my highest paid job, had soup with producer/chosen family Birthday Boy in August 2016, decided to work in music, was very, very poor, started figuring some things out and working with some amazing people. I’ll let you know how it goes, but I can pay my rent and buy decent groceries now, so that’s cool.

A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf, Matilda by Roald Dahl even though he’s wild problematic (“Never do anything by halves if you want to get away with it. Be outrageous. Go the whole hog.”), and All You Need to Know About the Music Business by Donald S. Passman.
Name something you couldn’t go a day without and Why?
Music – from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep. My brain is so messy and neurotic all the time and music has saved me from a lot of that struggle before I even noticed. My dad was a house DJ and loves a wide spectrum of music, so he inadvertently showed me how to express emotion via music from a very young age. Techno and classical help me work effectively in a massive way. I show love and intimacy, deal with anger, sadness, stress, and express celebration and sincere happiness through music. I hear the underlying cliché, but music has taught me a ton about myself and how I want to live.
