What are the go-to snacks you like to eat?
On a healthy day: smoothies and granola bars. For a treat: cookies and ice cream! But all of the above usually have nuts in them
Do you brush your teeth when you wake up or after eating breakfast?
When I wake up!
Do you wet your toothbrush before or after you apply toothpaste?
After.
Who is your role model and why?
Definitely a combination of people close to me in my life. My parents, siblings and friends all play unique roles in inspiring me in different ways.
Who would you choose to play you in a movie about your life?
This may be a strange point of view but anyone that I love or admire in the entertainment world doesn’t necessarily look or act like me so this is an extra tough question to answer realistically. Clearly I shouldn’t be a casting director.!
Favourite Restaurant in Toronto?
This is one of the most impossible questions for me to answer, because it is so mood and cuisine dependant! Some of my favourite special occasion meals have been Skippa, Alo and Buca Yorkville. More everyday spots include 416 Snack Bar, Bar Raval, and Aloette
What does equality mean to you?
I think equity is more important than equality in general. We need to recognize that not everyone starts out ‘equal’ in terms of resources and opportunities. We, as a society, need to work to allocate additional resources and opportunities to ensure equity..
It’s 2021, what does this decade look like to you?
I think we’ll be introduced to new ways of connecting. Social media will certainly still play a large role but it will need to change drastically in order to stick around. After the past year and a half, people are craving REAL LIFE communication and experiences and our entertainment (including social media platforms) will need to do a better job at encouraging the feeling of reality.
Who made the best ‘Sunday Morning’ song A) k-os B) No Doubt or C) Maroon 5?
Maroon 5, hands down. That was actually one of the first concerts I ever attended without ‘adult supervision’!
What’s the last item you purchased with cash?
A diet coke in the Newark airport.
What does retirement look like to you?
Travelling the world and continuing to document and share my food and travel journeys with anyone who will still listen.
According to you, who is the best-dressed person in business?
I have no idea about these things! Isn’t everyone just sweats-on-the-bottom, business-on-the-top these days?
What skill are you determined to master?
The TikTok and Reels algorithms.
What three films best describe your life?
The most influential brand right now is?
Do you believe there is a way to turn your passions into work, and if so, how?
Absolutely! I like to think that I’m doing it as we speak. Between working on monetizing my own social media presence while simultaneously using those skills to help restaurants manage theirs.
What are the 3 Albums that soundtrack your life?
Not so much ‘albums’ but artists: Galantis, Andy Grammer, Jason Mraz
What three words would you use to describe the past three months of your life?
Spontaneous. Busy. Rollercoaster.
What Public Figure inspired your career path?
I wouldn’t say there’s just one. Some influential figures along the way have been obvious writers like Anthony Bourdain, but also more obscure local food writers/contributors and simply watching Anna Olsen bake on TV as a child!
Name something you couldn’t go a day without. Why?
Good food! Be it a great latte, cocktail or meal, I always need at least one great culinary experience to look forward to each day.

Both to play with, neither to have. At the moment.

Men! haha
